That's the second thing I've said no to today.

I'm just not made for gold, I guess.
Haha Qrratu you need to come shopping with me so I can take you to some nice jewelery stores. Gold doesn't lose its value though.

I think you are. I can convince you.

Qrratugai, you yourself are more precious, rare and beautiful than gold or any other piece of jewelry a Pashtana can adorn herself with.

Yeah they put toooooo much gold on brides. It like invades their whole entire bodies. On there neck there are like 10 different gold necklaces, on each finger there are like 3 rings. Its annoying and just too much. I told my future in-laws that i dont want them buying me too much gold. I would rather spend all of that money on a nice honeymoon or something

Exactly. I completely agree with you. It looks tacky and really just plain annoying to look at. Like you said, its better to look at one gold necklace and appreciate its beauty that it offers, not like 10 all at once.

And plus i dont like the Indian style of gold. The big necklaces and stuff. Nah just not for me. I dont care how expensive it is

right.... recently my mom had taken me to a goldsmith to choose a gold set for me.. believe me i didnt like even one... because she insisted and i had choose two three different sets ....so i asked the goldsmith to make a set for me with the pendant of one set.. the chain of another.. lets see how it turns out to be..... i dont know how much i am going to wear it though...

i like gold rings....but just one at a time....

I couldnt have agreed more. When i was in Kabul, my father wanted to buy me a gold set, but i honestly did not find one that i liked. I love gold bangles and rings...but nothing else. Oh and sometimes earrings but really not more than one. Dubai has really nice gold sets though, their styles are a little different
