i can't stand jewelery. every once in a while when i see other girls, i buy a pair of earnings only to bring it home and then see make it's way in to my sister's room...

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

This is my weakpoint. There is not a time I go shopping and don't bring something home to add to my massive collection. It saves my back sometimes because I have so many things I haven't touched or opened and so I always have something at hand to give away as presents when someone comes over. See, there's a bright side to everything.

wo wror jana... i don't feel bad about buying gold but some other jeweleries i have bought are really waste of money.

Gold prices have gone sky rocketting...

a little secret about me... i am a professional gold shopper i usually know the rates and the current "muzdoori" rates and how to haggle and all... hehe...

i know what rate to exchange gold, what rate to sell it to... i have been buying for myself and family for the past 3 years...

i wear it every where other than my work place. but the gold i have bought, i barely wear it... they are in safe locker haha.

So I would hold every piece of jewellery (even though most of it is on stands), and have Shlombay's eager look in mind when I take the shot.

That's the second thing I've said no to today.

Alas! I have deprived myself of such rare affection. Truly a sad state.

Your sarcasm detector is out of order.

                (Shlombaya, no hard feeling eh?)

Have you seen my mothers wedding ring? or the sapphire ring my father bought her this year for their anniversery....my mother is crazy about jewlery....she is crazy i tell ya!

In Kabul we found the best emerald set for her, it is gold. And we found actual turqouise necklace for her. Its absolutely to die for.

Anyways, I have a huge weakness for jewlery......i making my father buy this for my birthday this year....well actually i asked him and he said yes.

                    (its my birthstone)

as far as gold...i told my future in-laws that i didnt want too much gold for my wedding. I am not too into gold that they give for brides.

I am more of a white-gold and diamond kind of person.

I actually have plenty of gold

I hate gold. I tell my mom that I want none for my wedding, and she is like, "No, no, NO! Toba ubaasa! Khwdey ba darla bya chere dar na kee!" :S My sisters tell me it's good to have gold because then you can sell it later on when prices rise and get lots of profit from it.

But I'm not convinced. It's a waste of money, and the sets I have right now, I rarely use -- that only upon my mother's insistence.

There's just nothing beautiful in it for me. It doesn't appeal to me at all ... Plus, how often do you actually wear it? I mean, if I were to waste that much money, I'd much rather waste it on something less expensive than that.

I'm just not made for gold, I guess.
