I use to trim my beard, cut it short, make it look like well, not really a full beard. But I'm have made up my mind. I am not going to change it anymore. I'll let it grow.

The reason why I always feared letting my beard to grow longer was because I fear that people might think I am some sort of a knowledgeable person or an Imam. And start asking me questions.

It happened to a friend of mine. He was finishing his last year in Medicine. And he had a long black beard maasha allah. So people would approach him and ask him all sorts of questions thinking he is a scholar of Islam or an Imam or something. He would say, don't be fooled by the lenght of my beard. It contains no knowledge of the deen.

But I figured, let people think whatever. I'll just sya that the reason why I have a long beard is not to appear as a knowledgeable person. It's obligatory in Islam.

Why does everyone hate beards? Like if u dont want to grow a beard, why make fun of the people who grow it for religious reasons? Yes u will find criminals wid beards, u will find people who pray 5 times a day raping people or doing something wrong, so are we gonna say dont pray?

Shaving is expensive. I use to shave back in the day. And those Gillette razors cost a fortune. A set is like 24 EURO's.
