Is it of local production?
Is it sold anywhere on internet?

There are some sold on the internet but I wouldn't trust them. Best bet is to go on holiday to Pakistan or Afghanistan - buy it from villages. Cities also sell them but the quality reduces and originality goes away.
I brought my ones from a village near Chitral - costs around 110 to 150 Afghanis - 2 to 3 dollars approximately.
Pakol is made of woolen cloth weaved by the weavers using the old weaving techniques and tools in many parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Islampur is one of the famous weaving clusters in Pakistan producing woolen cloth for Pakols, waistcoat and long coats. And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansar and Al-Muhajirun) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not."(2.13)
