okay so i know that there have been threads about piercings before but i went through most of them and couldnt really find out what i wanted to know :$ i want to get my nose pierced but i am not sure at all.. also because i don't know what side to get it on? i was thinking the right side (not left because i don't want to look indian - not that that is a bad thing) .. i'd rather look pashtun :P i actually already don't look very pashtun (dark eyes and i have a tan) because my family is not 100% pashtun. i know that i may look even less pashtun with a nose ring but i KIND OF still want one and i still want to look more pashtun anyyway :P. i know that older pashtun ladies have them (all of my grandmothers friends do) BUT it's not so common anymore? idk what to do. what do you guys think?

if you really want to then go for it just like adam said. I honestly wanted to get my nose pierced at one time but then I asked a certian someone and he said your going to look like the ppl that sell bangles. So then I didnt get it lol.

I dont look pushtun (i also have a tan) even though my entire fam is pushtun. I also think it only looks good with a certian type of nose. But then again its up to you. I think I sorta kinda still want it though sometimes. Another thing I secretly want is to get my belly button pierced. I dont know how that would roll with my parents though or him for that matter.. but im assumind something like this.

I have had my nose pierced five times. It has healed completely and there are no scars so even though at times i was not sure or just didn't feel like staying committed to it, i knew i had the choice to let it heal. I have slightly tanned skin so I stick with white studs but my sister is fair and she had gone against the norm with her ring. It suits her alot and it doesn't look trashy at all even though she wears the hijab. If I had slightly darker skin or tried the same thing I know for sure both would look trashy on me. I had to remove my eyebrow ring when I went to Afghanistan but I am getting it done again. (tcccha!)
You should never depend on others telling you how to present yourself when it comes to your appearance unless you are walking around I indecent clothes.

I have a tan (I think I mentioned earlier) and it's not even dark or anything but it's pretty tan compared to my original skin color which is like a million shades fairer xD (I live in the Middle East) I also wear hijab though so I'm not too sure. my mum does as well and she has a stud but she doesn't even wear it very much. I'd post a picture (of myself) but it's kind of weird posting it here on PF LOL xD I have pictures on facebook though soo if anyone has facebook I could show you there. I've attached a random small ish one though. which I'll remoev soon anyway. please no one quote this post! thank you xD
I don't like rings either, I like studs :3 like the very very small ones. the last time I wore a faek nose ring was like over five years ago :S LOL I can't seem to find any in stores anyway.
