Shalwar Kameez length

I bought some very nice Shalwar Kameez, but they are too long, by that I mean the shirts are getting close to reaching my ankles lol. What is the ideal length to have the shirts? Below knees, above knees or at knee level?

I got them sent over from Islamabad and they recommended this size because of my height, but they ended up wayyyy to long lol. I notice in quite a few photos they're all wearing them at different lengths, so I wanted to know what was the 'popular' style length to have them. Like most of these guys have them knee length




I might get them cut to a similiar length as in the below photo


Is that length considered 'popular'?

basically those are the lengths you posted. if its past that length, then get it altered, its too big.
