I will try my best to help you out, but since you are a guy, ummmmOriginally posted by KhyberKhan View PostOk. First off, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but anyway.... how do you get your hair really silky, shiny, thin and straight? I want to grow my hair but as soon as it gets long it its all over the place. Products, tips etc are welcome. I've tried using tresseme but it doesn't work.
so anyways,
here are some tips to make it silky and shiny:
2x a week, warm up olive oil in the microwave for about 30 seconds. It should be quite warm, but not hot. Massage your hair and leave it in for up to 4 hours, prefer to leave it overnight though. Then wash it off, shampoo it twice so its not oily. Do this for a couple of weeks, it should help to make your hair healthy, shiny, and silky.
Thinning your hair is not as easy though. You can cut a different way, asking your barber or stylist to cut it a certain way so your hair is thinned out. But if you have thick hair naturally, dont try to thin it out though, just not worth it in the long run.
to make it straight, to not sound too metro, just blow dry your hair for 15 minutes and brush your hair over and over as you are doing it. For a guy, this should make it pretty straight. Then afterwards, put a dime size of hair gloss in it (go to the store, you will find plenty of them), going through it with your fingers. This helps to keep it non-freezy and silky.

try baking soda instead of shampoo...
because it's too basic, mix it with some apple cider vinegar...
shampoo can damage your hair in the long run as it strips it off of all the essential nutrients that are produced at the follicles so over time it will make your hair dry and brittle.

Well, I am giving some tips that will make soft shiny hairs:
1. Use natural shampoo
2. Do conditioner at least twice a week.
3. Do not use plenty of styling products they damage hair.
4. Use Strawberry hair mask. Mash eight strawberries with one tablespoon of mayonnaise.
5. Use Neutrogena Anti-Residue shampoo.
6. Try the mixture of one tablespoon of honey and 4 cups of warm water.
