as much as I agree with you on most issues, Alchemist strikes a valid point (as crazy as that sounds). If you feel aggrieved over the mention of your sister associated with such attire; then why sanction such attire in the first place. It seems inconsistent.

There were/are people in the world who live stark naked. They don't find nudity offensive because they do not view the human body as an object of sex.
According to Evolutionary Psychology; the female body and the male senses evolved in a manner to encourage and promote mating. So this would be untrue. Sure perhaps they don't walk around with perpetual erections but that's not because they don't see a woman's body as sexual, but most of the time primitive societies are doing other things like hunting to survive.

hey were the Abrahamic absolutists who went around the world and taught people that they should be ashamed and feel "shame".
Not All Abrahamic Faiths are alike, Islam doesn't teach that the body is shameful, what's shameful is what one may do with the body. It's a gross misrepresentation that would indicate that the body itself is deemed shameful

It's ironic though because clothing was only adopted by our ancestors to shield them from the weather. In any case, that's another discussion altogether. And no, I'm not promoting nudity lol..
That is "one of" the reasons for clothing, another is hygiene, and yes even another is in fact to regulate sexuality.

To be honest, I think this gender segregation should be abolished, Pashtun men and women should be allowed to have relationships, not only does it become benefitical in regards to our low population size, but it will prevent the ill parts of society from arising such as male rape, bacha bazi/Wurkibazzi, and closet homosexuality.

Male and female need to be respected and seen as equals, and the law should support this, none of this three females equal one male witness non sense.

They say, the Saka people who happened to be Pashtuns, pre-Islamically, use to go to battle together, both male and female were equals in war, this shows our laws and the way we seen females were much different than what we see now.

Sorry for my language. But What the **** are you smoking? Pashtuns need to have more relationships so that we produce more kids? Low population size? When do pashtuns have low population size? Do you know how many kids the average woman has in Afghanistan?

You say that, open men and women relationships will reduce rape. LOLLLL. Once again I say, "What the **** are you smoking!" Have you look at the western nations or even here in the United States, do you know what the rape rate is here and the punishment?. Have you looked at the top 50 countries that have the highest rape rates? Guess what, they are all western/non-Islamic.

Lol, you say that men and women relationship will end homosexuality. Lol Once again " What are you smoking" What would a homosexual want to do with women anyways? Have you see the homosexuality rate in the USA?

I think you were the one who brought the Spartan women ran around naked. Yea, get your history correct brother, Spartan women ran naked around so that men can have sex with them, men treated them like sex slaves lol. Spartan society was a military society, and all the men were soldiers and the women were for them.

Your first statement about a man wearing a tank top in Kandahar he is attractive to other men. And women who wear skirts are a bad omen. I am not from Kandahar but for sure I don't think there has ever been a women out in the streets of Kandahar with a miniskirt showing off her legs. Obvisouly, men being attracted to a men with tank top is not fact because I have never heard of it lol, unless of course you are gay Idk.

Honestly, I don't know who you are but if you came near a Pashtun or me, I would like to give you a slap across the face to make you come to your senses. That would be the Pashtun thing to do.

Lol, I guess I am just killing time to write on this topic.

In my university in the South USA miniskirts is the norm among the white, blond, southern baptist, girls. For the person who said you should not look at their legs and look down, lol brother the only direction you can look at is the sky. Literally, every girl (9 in 10) in my university (30,000 students) wears skirts. When you have to walk to class with like 100 students behind and in front of you you walk pretty close together and they think you are weird if you look at the sky or at your feet lol.

It is simple, do what the Quran says and that is not think about women in that degrading manner. If you practice you will get better at it. Or better yet like me think of something else, like the super hard Organic Test that is coming up in 2 weeks that I have to study for. Organic Chemistry will definitely get your mind off the girls in miniskirts.LOL

Anyways, I don't really care if Pakhtun women wear skirts. I will tell it to their face that I don't want to see them or have anything to do with them. But if women chooses to act according to Islam and wears miniskirt, I will tell her that her dress is forbidden in Islam. I will let her make her choice.

                      Islam matters, pashtun does not.

                      ISLAM> Pakhtun Culture

Grow up and be sensible, one day a man is going to hit on your sister anyway just the same way your father hit on your mum and you popped out.

Why are men and women not same? you support gender segregation but reside in the UK? what about the problem of homosexuality and male rape in Pashtun society? how will you counter that?

My sister is mature enough to do what she feels is right the same way you spend most of your time chatting up girls on this forum.

Why do people always emotionally blackmail others with the Sister card to downgrade any attempts to free women from this male tribalist society thats plagued the Pashtun region.

Go on answer me! why is it okay for a Pashtun man to have sex with a male in Bannu or Kandahar but its bad for a Pashtun woman to wear a Skirt?

I need logical answers, not the Sister card.

Why is it in the West, a man, who looks handsome, has long hair, soft skin isnt pulled over every second by men hanging on a street corner, while in Bannu mothers who give birth to Speen bachun, shave their heads, make them ugly out of fear, they wont get raped or kidnapped.

                          Islam matters, pashtun does not.

                          ISLAM> Pakhtun Culture
The burqa is a pre Islamic Pagan Arab dress, it should not be regarded as Islamic nor Pashtun culture.

There is alot of aspects of Pashtun culture that contradict Islam, such as the playing of the Rabab which is in my knowledge prohibited since its not a drum.

Women in Pashtun culture, wear a different dress, that doesnt resemble a Burqa.

Pashtun as a people have outdated the whole existance of Islam hence, Islam is not Pashtun culture and neither is Pashtun a form of Islam.

To me Islam doesnt matter, but Pashtun does.

Again, why do you pose Pashtuns as violent people who cant take any form of criticism, why would you want to slap me for?

Secondly, Homosexuality is common practice in Kandahar, Bannu and other parts of the Pashtun region, its a fact, and since you have no idea of what your talking about goes to show you have never been to the region nor interacted the locals.

If you are assuming Islam will counter the plague of Homosexuality, then your wrong, There are members here from Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan, who have heard/seen even the most religionous of them all having relations with males in the sexual nature.

Go to bannu, or enroll yourself in one of those hostels in Peshawer to get a better picture and idea of what Iam talking about.

Its not a matter of East or West, If you want to compare figures or argue who is better or more civilised, then nothing can be compared to the number of innocent women thrown in jail in Muslim countries over failing to provide three male witnesses to the rape, as according to Sharia, three male witnesses need to be present during the rape of the woman, which is illogical and insane in my view, while on the other hand, rapists never get a free ticket in the West, and most of the cases, are caught and publically shamed.

any how, due to the plague of homosexuality, with the on going war, the decline in male Pashtuns has dramatically fallen, hence due to this, I encourage Pashtun males and females to co exist and make lots of babies, the same way Hitler encouraged after his loss against Stalin.

Dont get emotional, I am a grown man and a Pashtun, who has been both to Afghanistan and Pakhtunkhwa, and spent year and half in Chechnya too.

I said I didn't care about being Pashtun and that Islam was more important to me. This should be the case for every muslim (Islam> culture). But that is my view you don't worry about it.

Now didn't I tell you that I have never been to Kandahar. I have been to Kabul and Ghazni. I said if you are going to claim Bazi and that other nonsense as fact a lot of people should know about it. I know it exists in the north but never heard of it in the south.

Lol once again you mention this plague of homosexuality. I ask you again has the birth rate in Afghanistan gone down?

No, babies cannot survive. Afghanistan has one of the highest rates of death among newborns in the world. I will go as far to say it is in the top 3. This is why we need more women doctors in Afghanistan. This is why our population does not survive or grow as much as you want it.

You don't want Afghanistan population to grow, you want the population of *******s to grow in Afghanistan.

And you're nonsense about women needs this many witnesses and that other crap, listen it is different for every Muslim country. If you don't like Sharia don't follow it.

Don't tell me about what happens in the west because I live here. Rapists are not publically exposed lol. People have one night stands like it is nothing here.Abortions are off the roof here in my university.

All this is doing is decreasing the value of human life. Girls choose to abort because it is not worth it having a baby.

I can't believe you are a grown man with such views and you are Pakhtun. I say we should slap you because you are completely out of your mind.

I won't post to you again because talking to you is like talking to a wall literally. You cannot comprehend what a person is saying.

You showed your ignorance from the post "Islam is a religion like any other religion." Your not worth wasting time on.

And this is my exist from Pashtun forums for a while...

                            Salaam to all.

                            • The coalition government has launched a paper outlining how they plan to tackle violence against women and girls.
'No level of violence against women and girls is acceptable in modern Britain or anywhere else in the world.' Theresa May, Home Secretary.
In the last year alone, there were over 1 million female victims of domestic abuse in England and Wales. Over 300,000 women are sexually assaulted and 60,000 women are raped each year. Overall in the UK, more than one in four women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, often with years of psychological abuse. This is Almost 1 million women experience domestic violence every year.

'It's completely inappropriate': Outrage as NYPD warns short skirts could get women RAPED

                              By Daniel Bates

Women in one of America’s most liberal neighbourhoods have been left outraged after being told by police not to wear short skirts in case it gets them raped.
Those living in Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York, are being warned they could grant a sex attacker ‘easy access’ with their provocative clothing and that they should change.
Short skirts should not be worn and shorts that show too much leg have been deemed inappropriate by male cops who are patrolling the streets.

I think the above police reports say enough.

The Sarmatians and Scythians were kindred tribes with the primary difference being the role of women in their cultures. Traditionally, Scythian women did not have much status in their society. Their duties were purely domestic. This contrasts with neighboring tribes of Sarmatians whose women, believed to be descendants of the part myth, part fact based Amazons, had gained a reputation as fierce warriors. Scythian women did not ride horses like their Sarmatian counterparts. Instead, they traveled in wagons with their young. There is no evidence of strive between these two groups during the 700 - 500s BC.
