As to your comment about old women, can you define your understanding of an "old woman"?
    by old I mean wrinkly...

and we were talking about the progress of the hemline, the G'string is the zenith of progress then.

and I don't plan on visiting primitive societies ...in a sense most western societies have become no more different than the primitive folks of the regions you mentioned...a more obvious indication that western civilization is in decline ...

Reason being that primitive societies lack sophistication, as is exemplified by the lioncloth.

In the 1970s I wore mini skirts around town and for work and bikinis on the beach. And I looked good in both. Proud to be a Western woman!

Time moves on, it will stop for no one.
that's because the exploitation of women has increased in western cultures not because of any feature of time but social decay. All that's happened is commercialism has duped gullible western women into thinking accepting desecration is freedom.

but similarly that defeats your argument your previous argument of "time moves on" as you're essentially advocating archaic society's way of life.

Its not mini skirts thats the problem, its seeing boys in miniskirts that would be a problem in Afghan society, something that is sadly ignored and pushed aside.

I am sure Pre-Islamic Afghanistan, Women would wear what they wanted, and I really doubt, anybody would care, as usual, Ghavnazi changed our minds and our perception of women, and totally changed the way our society functions, as dancing boys are ignore but seeing a women without a Pre-Islamic Arab Pagan Burqa, is considered insulting and punishable by throwing acid/or having your feet hit by a long sugar cane stick.

I seriously doubt that Buddhist or Hindu women from Islamic era wore whorish attire like Miniskirts.

my harlotry? scimitar, you accused me of that for being friendly with men on this forum. perhaps you should join the taliban, you are a bit of an extremist at heart, lol.
those kinds of accusations are your 'patriarchal' ploys to intimidate women into being good girls.

I think it's criminal to have the word "miniskirt" in a thread-title and not have a picture of a girl in a miniskirt on every page therein. So, without further ado:

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".
