High heels?

True, it gives a nice posture and stance. They're nice to wear at parties and similar events like that, but I'd hate to wear them regularly. I prefer flats which are more comfortbale, but flip flops are no over here.Originally posted by Ms.FutureDoctor View PostAnd it gives a woman a good posture...
I love dolly shoes (it's what we call 'em in the UK).
Google didn't really have much to offer, but these are the type of shoes I mean. =)

Give me a break ... please ...
If heels are very high then your intentions are very different.
High heels are mainly worn to attract attention of men. There is nothing special or benefitical about them, as if they will make your heels or legs any stronger or healither

First of all, I don't publicise my intentions. They're for Allah alone to judge. Secondly, morality and immorality is not limited to dress. If I was trying to 'satisfy' (as you put it, makes very less sense) or impress anyone with my dress, trust me I wouldn't dress the way I do.Originally posted by makeenMaseed View PostIf heels are very high then your intentions are very different.

if it isnt immoral then tell me what is your intention of wearing high heels? who are you trying to satisfiy by wearing them in public?
I don't know how you define heel anyway ... if you're thinking of something like the pics posted, I can tell you, my feet (and legs) would have been broken over and over long ago.

Whats with the aggressive tone Moderator, did i hit a spark or something? there is no good reason behind wearing such high heels other than to look abnormal and to attract attention from males.

Thank you for you perspective, Makeen wrora, but let these women talk about what they like and prefer to wear, and they'll do it whether you think it's immoral or moral. Obviously, since women are the ones wearing it, they know what they're doing. If they happen to turn certain crazy men on, and if they happen to be "immoral" in certain men's view, so be it.Originally posted by makeenMaseed View PostIf heels are very high then your intentions are very different.

Abnormal? :P Bro, don't you mean "beautiful"? lol. Either way, clearly, our definitions of beautiful and abnormality differ, and that's perfectly all right. However, just because YOU don't think there's any (good) reason in wearing high heels doesn't mean women don't find any good reasons in wearing them either. You're a man; what do you know and what do you understand about women's desires and what women wear? Why is it that anything that makes a woman appear beautiful, whether to herself only or to the whole world, people like you come on here and tell us "it's immoral" and "it attracts men"?Originally posted by makeenMaseed View PostWhats with the aggressive tone Moderator, did i hit a spark or something? there is no good reason behind wearing such high heels other than to look abnormal and to attract attention from males.
Wake up - this world doesn't revolve around you or all men. Sometimes we women like to do things just becuase it makes USSS women happy. If something WE like/love happens to attract you and other men, why in the WORLD should we stop doing it just because it attracts you? We have our own individuality, and we're not anyone's slaves, in case you haven't been told yet.
As I always say, let us speak for ourselves, and you speak for yourself. We don't mind hearing what you've to say (after all, it's always great to be surrounded by more than one perspective), but when you start making judgments, then enough is enough and your view isn't wanted anymore.
I would totally wear them if I could. I find it very difficult to walk in them, that's all. But I admire any woman who CAN walk in them.Last edited by Guest; 05-11-2010, 12:43 PM.

Agressive tone?! Dude, you failed some potential humour in that post. Anyhow ...
Spark or hit something? I have nothing to hide. Why I wear heels is nothing to get sparked over. I feel much more comfortable in heels than I do flats, full stop. I don't feel I should be clarifying my intentions, of all things, to you. Like I said earlier, that is for Allah to judge, not someone on the other side of the world who doesn't know me, how I dress, what my priorities are, or what morals I value and implement. In saying that, as a person, the most important quality we should possess is to never assume things about people. So don't assume what lies in my heart, and why I do certain things the way I do. And why I wear heels and how I wear my clothes, and how many people I intentionally or unintentionally impress or attract is not for you to comment on anyway. Unless you're, like a decent brother, giving me advice ... I'd take it. The way you are assuming things and then standing by it ... I am not even going to budge. Nice try!

Where did you come from? Was i even speaking to you? I didnt ask for a feminists point of view at all. Iam sure your kind of thinking will suit very well in Canada or Europe, whereby women drive buses and lost their role as a mother and female, But iam sure, women in both Afghanistan and Pashtunkhwa will stay loyal to their roots and traditions.

Why do you guys always say Allah will judge me as if you know youve done wrong but dont want to admitt it.
Why get so emotional over my comment. if a woman wears tight jeans it is to attract the males by the shape of her body, sme with HIGH HEELS, its a abnormal and men will loook. BTW iam speaking about the high heels, with the slim stick thing supporting the feet. Just like the feminist from Canada, these kind of things will never be accepted by majority of pashtuns, for which iam glad and happy.

Bro, it's not just my view. It's the view of MOST women - let us women speak for ourselves. The world doesn't revolve around men.Originally posted by makeenMaseed View PostWhere did you come from? Now, live with it or move on
