the fact that he sung a stupid pashto song has nothing to do with parsi. the guy is just not trying anymore which is sad because there are so many new artists who are trying as hell and manage to come up with nothing because talent can't be practiced. either one has it or they don't.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

So someone decides to sing in Pashto, and we mock him. No wonder why Pashtuns refuse to sing in Pashto.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Really? I haven't really heard any of his songs but I have heard he is very popular in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Iran because of his "talent".

i hope he falls off his bike and rolls down a hill.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

but its been 2 or 3 years that the guy has lost his mind... he is attempting a new style of music, mixing it with afghan music, and its not working...

his previous two or three albums have been a joke...

so no, we are not mocking him because he attempted at pashto... rather for breaking his previous record of singing nice pashto songs.

my post wasn't entirely directed at Farhad. I don't know anything about him, and I tend to not speak about things I don't know about. My post was a general post, and that is why I said "someone", as opposed to saying his name. I have noticed a trend where when a non-Pashtun attempts to speak Pashto, many laugh at him and my post was directed at those people, and not any particular singer. I have no music knowledge, so you are probably right about his beautiful songs.
