Because our mothers who carried us in their wombs for 9 whole months knowing that they will go through countless sleepless nights because the kid they're about to give birth to will be hungry, thirsty, sick and whiny and knowing that they will go through unimaginable pain just to give birth to these children were not brave, right?

Because our mothers who fled their home country, all they ever knew, all they ever had, all they had ever seen, with their children in their arms running away at night into the unknown just so that their children may have a better tomorrow are not brave, right?

Because our mothers who have committed their lives to raise us to strong, faithful, pious, moral and confident individuals are not brave, right?

Because Malalai, Nazo and innumerable other Afghan heroines were not brave, right?

            Think before you speak. Think.

tell that to the women in afghanistan that have joined the police force to try and help the people there. your female politicians who have been threatened with death and rape for being "brave" enough to speak their minds. i think that is a very sad thing you have said.
