"Do not lose hope in adversity and complain that God singled you out for punishment, remitting others guilty of worse sins. Your present state could very well be His intent to elevate your spiritual station. Or He could just be testing your faith. Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus, your present despair may be the beginning of an infinite blessing". - Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani.
i prefer what is classified "foreign movies" and last one i saw was about a nomadic tribe in western russia, i think. it was done in a way that it could have been a documentery. still not sure whether it was or not. they have small hairy camels and 1 of them had trouble giving birth, so was assisted. the mother rejected the baby camel, so after a few days the owners went to a town nearby to get a violinist, who came and played while the a woman patted the mother and held the baby camel in place to take milk. after some time the mother relented and allowed the baby to feed and the people all went and celebrated with food and tea. it was so lovely with a happy ending showing the camel still with the baby. the cries of that poor camel when it's mum wouldn't have anything to do with it, were so pitiful. i cried.
does anyone else find the way shammi kapoor moves around his hands and body a bit gay?? no offense or anything but...??
yeah, so i watched this movie which was very much fun. sharmila tagore is so beautiful..
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.
Last movie I watched was Toy Story 3. I'm a grown man, but I still enjoy watching cartoons. On a serious note though, I also watched "The stoning of Soraya M.", which was just a heartbreaking movie. I don't get easily "touched"by movies, but this movie I still cannot forget. Perhaps becouse it is a true story.
i imagine the kashmiri scenery was beautiful. i never got to kashmir but the himalayas were my favourite.
back in those days ( 1964) a simple love story was all that was needed in order for people to occasionally escape reality and that was all that they got. nowadays they shove consumerism politics and what not down your throat in the name of a movie ticket.
i have never been a big fan of landscape sceneries..there is always something or someone missing. i did enjoy the actress's jewelery and wardrobe though.

i am the opposite. i like the scenery with no people in it. i actually like afghan and iranian movies. they are sensitive and slow moving and interesting people studies. the ones i saw, were but i don't know the names of those. just came across them on tv.
