Question regarding Lar Pakhtunkhwa artists (ie. Nazia Iqbal)

I havent really listened to alot of artists or watched any programs from Lar Pakhtunkhwa...except a couple Zeek Afridi songs

I noticed that Nazia Iqbal gets dissed alot...alot of criticism...i havent listened to anything of hers, dont know anything about her...why does she get criticized

also...who is this one actor i keep seeing popping up in Pakhto videos...he comes across as a caricature...seems kinda derogatory towards pashtuns...

Nazia Iqbal is said to be from Swat originally,she has a very melodious voice and a very clean character.
Since there is no concept of copyrights in that part of the world,her voice and songs get dubbed over vulgar and embarrassing songs of these low budget tele-films shot in Lahore,Rawalpindi and Gilgit Baltistan.
I like her voice but not the videos where she has low life dancers dancing next to her.

Nazia Iqbal I guess part of her audience seems to enjoy the second rate material. She sings some good songs and a lot of well lets crap. "Rupaae na yam ddalaar yamm" or "I am sorry" don't exactly make us look good or helps pashtu culture. If anything a lot of them symbolize a lack of quality but a lot of quantity in the pashto music scene. This is what people call classic ddamthob. On the other hand, artists like Khyaal mohammad, or Sardar Ali takkar kind of cling on to the traditional stuff and their songs are quite meaningful. The new breed of singers range between talented to the classic ttameethob of peshawar. Then again that is my opinion.

I personally am a huge fan of Haroon Bacha who has a Masters in Social work and Civil engineering, he has a mesmerizing voice and his passionate Pashtun nationalistic songs are just incredible.
