Honestly, I've never really investigated her music videos...or if I have I didn't recall she had that kind of content.

I will agree that is not content I want to endorse especially if it is plainly luchak. Her simply wearing a skirt isn't plainly luchak, though it is unacceptable...it is however not uncommon for Afghan girls these days to wear skirts .....however the other things are pretty revolting. Maybe i should have investigated further.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Daman usually go that route. There is a lot of promiscuity and other immoral activities associated with the industry. When I say skirt, Im talking about mini skirts with no partoog. She sings English songs and wears mini skirts and shorts using her sexual appeal for western audiences in the videos.

You cant sell songs in the west unless it's filled with sexual innuendo.

        Yeah that is very cringey

that is sadly very true, especially if you want to be a pop artist.

some of this artist's music videos is not much adhering to values of a muslim society. too much westernized/sexualized/liberal for the group she tries to cater to.

you guys supporting her, means she is doing something right. lol I thought you guys were some of biggest promoters of Islamic values. lol

It makes me cringe how low some of these fake Afghan artists are willing to go in order to make money. good music doesn't need sexual content in order to sell.
You are absolutely right...here is some more about her.

It would be less problematic if these western based/born artists didn't try to cater to Muslims. But some artists tries to cater to a Muslim audience with art that doesn't respect or is line with their societal values and norms. That's where it fails.

Most Afghan singers, Farsiwan or Pashtun (or otherwise), do not go as far as she does, but if it’s not rejected and criticized, it’ll become the norm in the next generation.
I dont think they are white dudes. They are Afghan or Iranian and so are the other girls on there. Its in California. Thats the norm for most Iranians and some Afghans that live there.

There are others that do go as far or even further than her. One is a Tajikistani singer named Meena jan who also perform concerts in Afghanistan. Im pretty sure everyone has heard of Aryana Sayed
