  • Does anybody watch Afghan Star?

The new season has started and looks kind of interesting...

One disappointing thing is that even though most people including the host and judges are supposed to be Pashtun they mostly speak and sing Dari.

Last year that girl from Nangarhar was good. She should have won because she was actually singing. How can they expect a singer and a rapper to compete?! That's stupid!

    Yup, here I do.
They should dub it from Dari to pashto or Pashto to Dari.
These afghan rappers are quite annoying and sometimes embarrassing.

Yeah the judges re not great... also sometimes it seems like they favor the more Westernized class of Afghans over the more authentic ones that wear Afghan clothes and sing traditional music.

Ironic since last year, you were outted as an Afghan wannabe. lol

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

But you actually are a wannabe, anything you say about me is just a defense mechanism lol

lack of motivation ....simmering down with the passing of time ...also you missed the Indic Wars, that was almost apocalyptic.

Yeah Forreigner was a full on troll, but he was funny and wanted to stir the pot, Karachi went off the deep end and then every Indic from Islamabad to Mumbai just coincidentally "magically" found this place on a whim (yeah right) and not because of some collective butthurt lol

It's like that John Carpenter movie "The Thing".
