  • Video Games: Super NES Classic

I just bought a Super NES Classic. I haven't plaued Super Nintendo in nearly 20 years. Actually more than 20 years. I bought the Super NES by myself with my part time job working at a Skating Rink, my parents didn't like me playing video games because they;'re afraid my grades would go down lol. (they were right lol).

SNES Classic is the reboot of the original system but the games are preloaded, it's more for novelty and nostalgia. I never realized how hard Super Mario World was, or perhaps I just don't have the knack for games I once had. As far as videogames, I loved the Super Mario and Megaman series. I actually have a Playstation 4 too but I literally haven't played it once since I bought it. I'm thinking maybe I should get a Gameboy Advance off of Ebay. Anyways, it's fun to play all these great games again.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

The good old days of 8 bit games.
I had a snes in the mid 90s.
One game is missing in the compilation ‘Tiny Toon Adventures’.
Have you ever had a tamagotchi?

actually never had one. I remember Tiny Toon Adventures the cartoon. I used to watch that after I came home from school, if I didn't have to work that day.

I used to work with my dad sometimes but today it’s kinda a scandal if a 9 year old works :D.
The best movies, cartoons and shows are from the 90’s like ‘ren and stimpy’ or ‘Kenan and Kel’. We were somhow blessed.

I’ve never watched DBZ/Yugioh or One peace although all of my friends and classmates did. But I gambled with DBZ and Yugioh cards. We laid the cards on the ground and If anyone made a card turn around by hitting with his palm he would win it.

                  Why not? No cable?

You missed out on a good part of childhood. In those days a new episode would be broadcast on a weekly basis. whenever the show was on, all us kids (brothers sisters and cousins) would sit before the tv. the living room was full of kids sitting on the floor watching the show everyone's eyes glued to the screen. Those were the days. It was like a soap opera for kids. All our conversations were speculating about various aspects of the story line and characters.

                    No we had cable.
Don’t know man but animis never fascinated me and I didn’t want to force myself watching an episode. The only animi/manga i watched sometimes was the ‘shin chan’ cause it was funny.

                      I see.

Did you ever watch Beast Wars or Reboot? Cutting edge CGI at the time and quite impressive and the pride of Canada.

No never heard of it. I think it the two cartoons didn’t make it out of Canada. Atleast it wasn’t aired where I live.

Maybe. I used to live in the USA for a few years, they have Cartoon Network.

I have no idea what's the situation of TV these days, I haven't watched TV in years.

I always thought Sonic was a lot cooler than Mario.

Sega really sh@t the bed with the dreamcast.
