Maximum is 24, iblees I think you also counted the four sides figures too.

Exactly it's really easy to Google Image Search the standard/accepted Solution in factOriginally posted by Samandri View PostThere is some thing called reverse image search
Even Elite Pakhtun PMed me to show me where he got his answer from

lol... why don't you tell all of us what a triangle is, and where you hallucinated the 30 from?Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostExactly it's really easy to Google Image Search the standard/accepted Solution in fact

I PMed because I felt sorry for how you're proclaiming to everyone, with such immense confidence, how it's 30. I didn't want to embarrass you again. Who knows how many things bring joy to your life... I'm sure it's not that many. Kicking your ass here would remove the few things you do enjoy.
Misguided pity on my end, that's for sure.
Nice try at trying to save face, But it doesn't explain how you just happened to have the link for your answer. Listen buddy, for future reference, please don't PM me to try in order to "save me". I don't think I can handle such a sympathetic well wisher hahaha
By the way, it's actually more than 30 if you use a more mathematically rigorous definition of Triangle.

@Iblis_Efreetzai, do you want to share that convo in particular? People can have a good laugh at you then. You seem to think there's no point in PMing, so be it. I respect a person's privacy, unlike a few people here... but you appear to be adamant. Why not show it to everyone?
I can do it... but because I respect privacy, just tell me publicly if you're okay with that. Agree to it, and I'll share.

Usually I sense you PM me because you're embarrassed and don't want to get publicly called out. You did this with DZJ as well. You really need a reality check if you think you're humiliating anyone but yourself.
You're CLEARLY on a defensive. You've sent me 2 Messages, One mention and one response. For a Total of 5 reactions AFTER me posting your PM. You're triggered beyond belief.
. But hey thanks for projecting your...ahem I mean thinking of my frail "feelings" though (sarcasm)( lol

I frequently use reverse image search "Tineye" to trace the sources of historical photographs. I purely solved this puzzle for fun, and honest to God , i was able to find only 12 triangles in first attempt, and 17 in second attempt after paying little bit more attention but could have find two or three more if i had dedicated some extra time to it but that would have been no fun. The fun is how many you are able to find in one go in a minute or so. To check whether there is some formula or easy trick to count all triangles and how they are scoring IQ, i did reverse image search and found out that 24 is answer and all the possible triangles were explained through diagram.
Then i saw answers of 24 after me....smile spread across my face.........i know people are touchy when it comes to IQ.....after-all we frequently insult each other by taunt of IQ......

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll take that as a no.Originally posted by Iblis_Efreetzai View PostUsually I sense you PM me because you're embarrassed and don't want to get publicly called out. I messaged you, DZJ, Rooh3456, Samandri, Firdousi, Khushal, Shapur, Peshawer_222, publicly messaged Marwat... probably messaged 3-4 people who haven't responded and/or I can't remember right now.Last edited by Elite Pakhtun; 12-10-2016, 02:24 PM.

Ok sure In Algebraic Topology; one of the concepts that's dealt with is what's called a homeomorphism. This is a function that can continuously map one set to another set bijectively , and the pull back, the inverse map is also continuous. Now all polygons are homeomorphic to a circle. But what about lines? You can induce (meaning create) a homeomorphism (artificially) of a triangle to a line because the sum of a all angles of a triangle is 180 deg and a line is 180 deg. What happens is that sides and vertices converge to form a line. but you can still say there are three sides, and three angles since all you do is collapse them together.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View Postlol... why don't you tell all of us what a triangle is, and where you hallucinated the 30 from?
It's just a topological trick.
