movies about natural disasters,or the human civilization coming to an end is a sub genre of science fiction called apocalyptic and movies fiction set in a world or civilization after such a disaster that ruins the world is called post-apocalyptic. i deem it necessary the exact definition cause it will help you in searching movies related to specific genre.

^ You have made that suggestion in the past too. I guess I will check it out next time I get a chance. I get to watch a lot of action with my brothers but after a while it gets boring.
Talal I can't think of many but I did enjoy shutter island, water land, twister and a movie about men that were caught in a storm in the middle of a sea somewhere. I guess I enjoy man verses nature conflict based movies.
