I think we should start a dedicated page/thread/whatever, for the purpose of translating good Pashto songs (especially the old gold stuff). It would benefit non Pashto speakers (such as my self) who are trying to learn the language as music is loved by all and can greatly help accustom people to culture and language.

I am not good at understanding poetry, DaZahroJaam could probably explain this better. But every time I ask her what the meaning of some of these poetic verses are, she thinks I am asking to make fun.

"stargai de kach kol ka, wakhla da de noona" meaning
kach kol would be the metal bowl so what she is saying is use your eyes like a kach kol and carry my love with you, but she can correct me on this if I am wrong

and also this meaning , "mata pa kho stargo ragora,,,, modaam ba na we sta zowani zama sowaloona" ?

2) your youth(zwani) wont always be there for my asking

This song should be sung by a woman by the way. A man singing it is kind of inappropriate.
