i'm a big fan of the so called sufi music but i wonder if music, which is a form of entertainment could be spiritual. i mean, isn't this an exploitation of the art of music by religious people, also on the other side by those religious people who say music should be banned?
music was there long before man created religions so music cannot be a way to reach god, because for one like all art forms music simply pleasures the senses, its a pleasure and pleasure is sensory and physical, not spiritual
so Nusrat Fatah ali khan is a great musician and not some saint, which in fact does not make him any less of a man
