Yes, its not about being pure, it is about armenian culture and language, they have not nothing in common with caucasians but much much in comon with iranians or even with russians. Also armenia isn't on caucasus. So we are the last to say to be caucasians. genetically a small part of nowdays armenia's inhabitants are assimilated caucasians, most likely from the lezgic tribes. however culturally we have reall nothing close, also we normaly had good relations. it is strange to hear in russia call armenians caucasian, because culturally the slavic traditions were closer to us.
for example xorovod is fore sure much closer to our dances than lezgi dance
