They could have been forced to wear these costumes while in captivity as a method of humiliation and/or for propaganda purposes. There is a video on youtube of members of the Pakistani army forcibly placing burqas over captured Taliban. Such occurences do not seem uncommon.
Also, the Afghan government, even years before pictures like these were taken or surfaced, is known for blaming failed attempts of ANA police and security guards to avert Taliban attacks, on Taliban that were dressed in burqas or women's clothes as if that somehow justifies and serves as a cover for their inadequacies. These claims have been proven untrue on occassions because the Taliban are also known for making their own videos of attacks which lend a different picture from the sequence and details of events the government media may offer. I am not speaking for every instance, instead I am saying that maybe doing a little more independent research into everything is necessary before blindly believing the government's take on events. As an American man that loves his country like a true patriot would, even I know that in a war, it is foolish to accept media attempts at smothering the opponent like this at face value. I love America but part of being an American should be to be open-minded, think critically, as well as to be fair, tolerant and respectful of others.

i think in the west they would call this empowering.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
^ Khushal, do you know which documentary or report this clip came from? Thanks. It is truly a shame and sad what had happened. I apologize to Afghans on behalf of the American people.

Notice how Khushal tries to draw attention away from how dunderheaded the Taliban are.
and he says he's NOT an apologist or supporter

Its not drawing attention away from it. Its questioning the legitimacy of the claim. When was the last time the Afghan government told the truth and why is the old man in the video cursing Karzai and praising the Taliban. These are questions that have to be answered if you want to seek a solution to the problem.
If you dont want to seek a solution to the problem then stay busy watching porn but please dont post it on here, that is not what this forum is about.

Aren't these pictures of the insurgents who attempted to sneak across the border disguised as women, a few months ago?

^ Better than being a US army apologist/supporter.
or an uneducated conspiracy theorist living in the West collecting public assistance
