^ Than this is his poetry. If you can't understand it that doesn't mean the poetry is rubbish.

                  yes

but his poetry da Quran tekay ne dai.

i cant say Ghani Khan is my most favourite poet matter of fact he sounds delusional and insulting sometimes.

i think Khushal and rahman baba are some of the heavy weights.

after that i can say the new poets are good, people such as Turab,Zawab, etc.

Don't know of the band but seems like everything that ghani wrote was while he was dead drunk. Nashe main toonnn. His poetry lacks dept and substance. The only reason as to why youngesters find themselves relating to his writings is because he encouraged aimless aloofness through them. Baghair d sharab aw nashey na worta bal sa na wo zda. Hamza shinwari, on the hand, wrote some really beautiful pieces. It is not that he was not explicit or had restricted his emotions in his writings but that he presented them with class. And it's very unfortunate that he does not get as much recognition for his work as every one else. Ka na, ulfat na newaley rahmana porey, tol overrated dee.

                    What is overrated in pashto??

The theme of the song is that poet inquiries of God, why he sprayed beauty over the universe if it were bound to be dusted.

Ghani Khan che sanga Abaseen Yousufzai saib wayi Pa Khday Mayen Wo.

                      His poetry revolves around.

                      Sharab, Masti, Zwani and Mullah.

He is against the traditional Mullah. Aao da Sharabo pa zarya Ghani hagha khabari kai che kom normal khalaq na shi kawalay. And Ghani Khan never mentioned aimless aloofness in whatever I read of him.

Sharabo na Sharab matlab aghistal? Laka when Iqbal says 'La phir ik baar wohe baada-o-jaam ay saqi'? What does he mean. So is the case of Ghani Khan I suppose.

                          Everybody has his own style.

Ghani Khan was a normal human being like you and me asked for Masti and Zwani when he could handle it. At the end when he faced the difficulties of life he said, Ya da jwand bayl'alay jang day ya kho za pehlawan na wom.

Read.. Mullah jan wayi azal ki ta lekalay yao kitab day. Now in which category will you place that?
