^Just my personal view. He's a limousine revolutionary. I don't understand RATM and they remind me of a culture I hate. The self absorbed, delusional college kid activist culture that projects a certain image to the world but seem to not genuinely care about the issues they so fanatically obsess over outside of vandalizing their car with clever bumper stickers and blocking traffic holding up signs. Considering their level of notoriety within the public sphere and celebrity wealth combined with their outspoken views on poverty, I expect them to be among the world's leading philanthropists, but evidence seems to indicate that their level of philanthropy is unusually low in contrast to the message they push. I estimate the amount of money used on one of their music videos could be used to feed an entire village or two in Afghanistan.I don't make monkeys, I just train them.

^I have enough evidence to satisfy myself, you can research them for yourself with google. It's my honest opinion but note that I do have a rather negative, hostile, pseudo-nihilistic and even misanthropic worldview. This is a pre-requisite to understand some of the music I posted. It could most likely be accurately concluded that people who are content to "go with the flow" are not likely capable of comprehending the sentiment and worldview that motivates and inspires people to create bands like Blood Spit Nights, Lebenden Toten, etc.
Here's a classic...

i could listen to that one.
the anarchist turned punk then death metal or feral, following the trends. if tomorrow it becomes trendy to wear pink, with purple flowers between their toes, they will follow, like image drones.
the problem with these groups with their anger only, is they just growl but don't appear to create anything new, regarding the lifestyle they are angry at.
you think because i am not rigid and uptight with hatred, that i don't understand being angry at the facade of civilisation?
hatred is a psychic and emotional poison, so not into feeding it.

your persistent reference to "Seattle " as some typical trendy allusion to the much hyped up grunge scene there nearly 20 years ago, in the context of extreme metal as if they are analogous - Reveals your perception of things is based on the typical naive outlook that anything with distorted heavy guitar sound means they're the same type of music or even interconnected genres.
The irony of it all is that you're speaking of following trends, but your understanding of counter-cultural music is rooted in the constructs of the mainstream. You perceive things from a superficial understanding and dwell on externalities. If the music seems like a big wall of noise and growls to you, that's to be expected. That's the way people who are accustomed to the standard cultural gravy train would typically infer from it. You're saying the same generic novice perceptions people generally say when they'the typical understanding of the ignorant masses. Only people seasoned in listening to these styles of music can infer the subtleties and distinctions and elegance enshrined within the soundscape of what you unlearnedly see as repetitive beats, angst and loud guitars. And that's how it should be for you.
and Khwazhun, Faye is just trying to bait information out of you; she has some complex in trying to fit in with Younger generations. She's trying to get a foothold

one could record a fart, put it into a repetitive beat and title it, "celestial emanations from the bowels of eternity", and it becomes esoteric. you posers would get off on that.
but a fart by any other name would smell the same.
