^ idiots like you tend to classify burping as an expression of freedom of speech too. that's why.

most of the bollywood movies these days are made for the audiences outside india.

this is how it happened in the west but because not everyone is depraved it is also the cause of much conflict in the west especially the USA. the perverts in the media will try to demonize anyone that voices an opinion other than accepting perversion as normal. it is sad and the perverts don't see how they are pushing the west into a cultural civil war w/ moral & religious people on one side & perverts on the other.
most would have no problem with letting perverts be perverts with each other in private, sadly the perverts insist on acting out in public and trying to recruit our children.

Whatever, talk to me after you are able to get a job and live in Afghanistan.

I would rather sweep streets in a Mumbai slum, than live in a enemy state contributing to its economy, thus indirectly having blood of compatriots on my hands.

Good for you for living up the American Dream !

there is perversion in every country, the only difference is that some cultures promote it and are proud of it while other cultures are ashamed of it.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Some cultures promote freedom of expression which allows, a member of minority community [Zakir Naik] to preach and convert those belonging to majority faith on TV, also allows such trashy movies to be made.

The cultures that do, are proud of it.

same culture had millions upon millions converted from the majority faith without Zakir Naik, for hundreds of years and didn't make trashy films at that time.

freedom of expression should never be a pretext for social decline. And taking pride in that, just desperate rationalization

AFAIK, There was no TV/cinema at the time.

I feel that you are deliberately missing the forest for the trees as you love being the in-house contrarian of the forum, so this is my last post on the thread.

The overarching issue is should the tyranny of majority be imposed on those who deviate from the norm or not? When freedom of expression is allowed by the majority in religious field, conversions happen; when the same principal is practiced in entertainment, such movies may be made (along with the good ones).

Factually incorrect. Such films are given 'Adult' rating . Those you might have seen in Pakistan might be unrated as they are pirated from Dubai.

                      Avoid piracy, buy legal.

you are comparing a man talking about god appealing to people looking to better themselves to trashy entertainment that gets people off sexually?

zakir naiks have existed in india for almost 1000 years, the porn or sexually explicit entertainment in india is a new phenomenon which is championed by sleazy people that see their naked women as progress, and who's standards are based on western ideals.

First off, I am not sure whether or not you know that no nudity is shown in these 'porn' movies. Only liplocks. That's why I called it soft porn.

Majority of Indians don't see Zakir Naik, as an angel who is here to rescue us poor kaffirs from our idol worshiping ways. They see him as somebody who denigrates our religion. But we allow him to preach because we respect his right to disagree, to deviate from the norm. Just like we tolerated his predecessors.

In similar ways, most Indians don't go around burning theaters and killing movie directors just because their movies might have offended our sensibilities.

There is nothing western about right to dissent. Tolerance and respect for opposite opinion are thoroughly Indic values. However, there are exceptions.
