    This is what

DaZahroJam, EmKhan and other myopic ignorant individuals read

" Pashtun women should be made to wear scantily clad attire or better yet stripped down nude, oiled up and pole dance to really crappy disco music while men watch"

these mentally challenged people have difficulty in understanding hard concepts like , liberty, progress and human betterment.

were these women singing though? ...LOL ....

Narrates ‘A’ishah (rta): The Messenger (sws) of God came to my residence while two female singers were singing the songs of Bu‘ath.1 The Holy Prophet (sws) lay down and turned his face to the other side. Meanwhile Abu Bakr (rta) entered and [seeing the singers] rebuked me thus: ‘Satanic musical instruments in the presence of the Holy Prophet (sws)?’ On hearing this God’s Messenger (sws) turned towards him and said: ‘Let them [sing and rejoice]’. When Abu Bakr was engaged in some other business, I signaled to the girls [to go out] and they left. It was on the ‘Id day.2 (Bukhari, No: 907)

Damtub is the culture of the Daam, who are not Pashtuns.

Yes, more Pashtun women should be involved with building their country and future, not entertaining men. When country is built, they can belly dance for all I care.

And another thing, Pashtane peghle daase na gadezi. Pashtun girls do not "dance" for men.
OKe go and tell to Mangal, Naghma, Latif Nangarhari, Master Ali Haidar, that they ar not pashtun becuase they sing, I am cirious what the respond will be.

PS. Yes I also think, at this time its more important that women must be reprsented more in politics, law and in economic work, singing and dancing can come later,
But painting and poetry, pashtun women do that too whith more pride actualy, the only thing that still have a stigma is singing and dancing....

          Firstly, Mangal is a Tajik.

Where did I say singing makes you non-Pashtun?

Second women are allowed to sing among women with just Daryaab/Drum.

            And men among men.

Na’fi reports that once Abd Allah ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) heard the sound of a Sheppard’s flute. He put his fingers in his ears, turned his mule away from the road and said: “O Nafi’! Can you hear? I (Nafi’) replied with the affirmative. He carried on walking (with his fingers in his ears) until I said: “the sound has ceased” He removed his fingers from his ears, came back on to the road and said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) doing the same when he heard the flute of the Sheppard” (Recorded by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and Abu Dawud & Ibn Majah in their Sunans).
