Word Association

The way you play 'Word Association' is a person comes up with a word and the next person has to say the first thing that comes to their mind when they read the word. for example..

Person 1: Red
Person 2: Pomegranate
Person 3: Seeds
Person 4: Flowers

& so on .

first word: Bunnies

LOL but i thought the word is Bunny...so you have to say what comes to mind that is associated with it...right? or am i just extremely confused
