Nice dramas, its better than those pashtun movies from Pakistan tha I sometimes come across in youtube, this are more realistic, only to bad they are all men and no women that plays the roles, that makes it a littel bit strange.
^Salam there's a reason why? Kandahrian...dramas don't use women.
Its called sharam...pardah...Kandahrians are strict people.
You find it strange... i find it...normal...respectful and in line...with my kandaharian
pashtun beliefs.
traditon islam............
Oke so for men putting on womens clothes are not seen as sharam?
In medievel Europe in the theaters there were only men acting even the womens roles were played by men, also in India in the first bollywood movies womens roles were played by men becuase women were not allowed to be in films. But they chnaged, hopefully kandharians change too and see that there nothing wrong whith a women playing in a film as long it's a respectful role.
And excluding women from cinema have nothing to do whith Islam. But I agree that it must me pashtun beliefs and tradition. But if its Islam then men are also not allowed to play in.

I understand where your coming from. If we look at Islam solely non of
this....is allowed in any form or shape no excuse.
Islam says men shouldn't wear female clothing...and females shouldn't
wear male clothing.
Nor should they imitate each other.
Among those who are cursed by Allah s.w.t and his Angels are the men who
imitate females...dress and act...like a female, and........
women who imitate men...dress and act masculine like a males.
Islam has clear rules...for both genders......
Sharam is...and...should be for both genders.
Now as for the dramas...there's scenes where the genders touch..like for
example......................................
dieing scenes or hitting scenes. Islam ....tradition
does not allow.... gender touching or mixing...point blank.........
Drama can't be complete without both genders......real life involves both
genders.
Little boys play little girls parts.
Grown men play women's
parts its just the way it is........how many of us follow Islam truly 100%,
including my self none of us...
I believe the sun should never set upon an argument.
I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness.
i think the simplicity is the key - story hits the point straight.
the characterisation is in tried and tested story format, an issue of concern and prevalence is highlighted, action and consequence shown.
personally i find the simplicity of story, background, the props, the location, the houses, . . . beautiful. i feel so drawn to my chilhood of such simplicity, life was hard, the floors were hard, the shelves needed blankets in front to keep the dust away, smell of water on dry soil was tasty, a different world, lost in time, as i sit in my apartment in dubai marina. i am going to book a flight . . .
