Crime and Punishment by Feydor Dostoevsky

A great book although a little depressing. The way the author sets the scenery is as if you are there besides its great story. Although I have never been St Petersburg, after reading this you can feel that you have been there. Its a great book which every one must read. Even though I am not a fan of novels and fiction, this is one of the few fiction books I have read more than once.
