    Bollywood culture in Afghanistan?

Somehow I can't imagine chadri wearing women to be exposing their bodies to such an extent and dancing like the people in those bollywood films.

Although they are always showing some Indian drama on TV there.

Karachi I would. I watch foreign movies without even bothering with subtitles. You get to learn body language and it's fun to figure out what it happening by reading expressions only. Also it helps one learn a new language. I watch Korean movies sometimes. I have picked up on so many words that are similar to Urdu and Farsi. Many of us learned Urdu by watching tv. It's amazing when you think if the times you used to stare at the tv set having not a single clue Asti what u happening an then picking in a new language through that.
My only issue with Hindi movies are that they are not sappy as they used be. The language is not pure and too much skin exposure. Also they don't make songs outside in the fields anymore. .

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

^ the older films were written by muslims mostly and the culture of early bollywood was really "muslim", i mean every actor had to learn pure urdu for their dialogues before acting, most of the songs were in urdu. Now days thats not the case, they are basically trying to follow hollywood in everything. Urdu language has been replaced by english or english/urdu/hindi mix.

people changed over time. less producers are interested in making art rather than money. they make what sells and the garbage they make today sells the best.

Bollywood movies and songs have gotten so annoying, its unbearable to watch or listen to.

                  I missed the 90's and early 2000's.

i prefer the older ones. they were so happy and family frieandly. they had all the different generations involved in the stories. the outdoor dancing was fun too.

aslong as it doesnt alienate and ridicule pukhtun culture then i guess its ok

fan of bollywood myself but still...

alot of impressionable people out there and id much rather see a pukhtun act like a pukhtun than anything else
