Suggest to me a good Indian movie

I have never actually seen a bollywood film in my life, except clips on youtube. i hate dancing and singing and was wondering if anyone could suggest anything good that does without the annoying singing voices and horrible dancing. comedies would be nice, also dramas and action (do they even make action movies?)

bollywood is becoming too big to ignore, i feel like i am just another victim of the indian machine

dont even waste your time on watching 4 hours movie, just find a nice 61 minutes long hollywood movie and enjoy it.

Simply awesome movie, has great comedy,tragic ending,bollywood can never make this kind of movie.
And kamal hasan is the best actor in india

Amongst the recent ones you can watch Omkara, Maqbool, Dev D etc. These are serious kind of movies with little song and dance sequences. Amongst the old ones try Dev Anand's Guide. Its a classic!
