Yes, its very cheesy and its filled with propaganda.

Yes, the nature is being exploited. And yes, we should stop doing what we do.

But these people have even made the whole "save the nature"-thingy a sort of a business.

They exploit people by playing on their emotions and extract money from them telling people they are saving the planet. While in fact most of the money goes straight into the pocket of the same people who have caused so much damage to the nature.

^ we tend to have an emotional reaction to everything around us..it's better to have some sort of an emotion than sitting in a room of four walls avoiding others who might figure out what is going on inside your head and perhaps take advantage of that. that is life buddy...the money goes to the rich because they are rich. be it made from this or some other source. it's good to know what role you play in your environment or what others think/want you to believe you are playing.

My solution is to spread awareness in less sensational and less commercial way and teach people the Qur'an and Sunnah. Allah and his messenger have commanded us to be good to our environment. In our expenses of resources, treatment of other living beings, flora and fauna, usage of clean water etc.

I think the key is teaching people the Islamic way.

But we shouldn't expect a revolution or a sudden change. We need to be patient and invest in education and awareness.

And Inshaa allah we will achieve somethign in the long run.

Most people are totally ignorant of their religion. For example, it is the sunnah of the prophet sal allahu alayhi wasalam to treat animals with kindness and compassion.

When is the last time you have seen "muslims" treat animals with compasion?

When I was in Kabul, I saw chicken fights, dog fights, police fights... sorry they are not exactly animals.. but close to animals.

I mean all sorts of abuse and mistreatment of animals. Yet, we know from the books of Sunnah that the prophet sal allahu alayhi wasalam would treat animals with so much love and affection.

Similarly, there are many other aspects of religion people have neglected.

People do not even know Allah. They do not even have the correct belief regarding allah and his messenger.

So how can you say that Muslims are aware of Islam?

it's a lot easier to think straight, learn and preach others about islam, peace and the right path when you have a full stomach than an empty one. okay?

Well, the preaching certainly helped me. And the preaching helped all those companions of the prophet saww for 13 years in Mekkah before the hijra.

Preaching Islam is not an effort that is useless. It is teaching and educating people in order make them a solid community. So that when we have the strength, we can make moves.


About depression. I use to suffer from depression. Alhamdu lilah I am cured. I have not felt the same again.
