There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

that movie was good, though the standard of film making has gone down a whole lot lately.
movies have always been about entertaining people, most of it being mindless and stupid. though the stupid and mindless movies are a lot more common these days, as are the tv shows. keeping up with the kardashians? id like to throw bricks at their ****in faces and keep up with their rehabilitation after they are shot in the spine.
that said, i do enjoy american movies from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, more than the modern stuff.
