^the early morning breeze of kabul still gives a feeling of being in paradise...

the water from paghman still tastes like it came from paradise...

i have never in my life tasted such sweet water - i think i lived off of water when i was there

they destroyed our watan - our kabul jan.

We have our own Wardak community in Qargha.
Away from the main road, we are far from all the drunks, illegal dating and all the foreigners wanting to party. It's over-rated, anything that breaths flocks to Paghman on fridays, hundreds of cars, back to back, block the Charah-e-Qambar and Khoshal Khan mena road. The traffic jams and pollution (gardona, dorey) gets annoying
Yow hal wee, yow badbakhti wee, and then all these young guys singing, clapping and dancing in their cars. It's a sad view when you see all these cars packed with groceries and picnic material, young men and women packed in their cars passing through the refugee camps where all the Pashtun refugees from the south have sheltered. They have barely food to eat, while the road gets packed with joy, loud music, drunk people shouting and all the pleasure you can imagine. No wonder Afghanistan is in such a condition, imagine all these people not going to paghman one weekend and instead donating all that money to the refugees living on Paghman road. They are poorly built mud homes that shelter thousands of refugees that have fled the coalition forces bombing in the south.
Following is the video of the camps I'm talking about :
