In case some of you imbeciles didn't get the point, it has to do with cultural shift and free will; If a woman chooses to go out and dress how she wants, that's her choice. They don't need illiterate, backward, human beings forcing their interpretation on them. Any who, granted it could be deemed Un-Islamic by some, each human is held accountable to his/her own deeds, and Allah will deal with him individually; no need to beat around the bush; first focus on yourself. There are plenty of women that *don't* wear skirts, are forced to wear a niqaab, and quickly to take it off once their in a non-*relatives* zone area. When it doesn't come from the heart, it is meaningless.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

You should use your brain, take some critical thinking courses at Leiden, and use those skills to analyze the images I posted. Don't make me do the thinking for you; I just posted the images, provide your insight, and keep it moving.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostShould we feel proud seeing the legs of women of Kandahar?

Since you are so intelligent, please explain why there are specific laws prescribing correct islamic dress and why there are specific laws stipulating how people should be corrected and even punished for not wearing what they suppose to wear.Originally posted by Admin Khan View PostIn case some of you imbeciles didn't get the point, laissez fairet has to do with cultural shift and free will; If a woman chooses to go out and dress how she wants, that's her choice. Best,
giving people the freedom to choose how to behave and how to dress seems like laissez faire Islam.
How do you reconcile that with punitive measures?Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

If an individual does not choose to wear the Hijab, you can NOT force her to wear it. Let Allah deal with each human being individually, since for sure he knows more than you. Thanks for the compliment; I don't think I'm intelligent, I like to remain humble about the aforementioned. Although I do have a pretty solid track record, and pretty good resume. ;-)Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

While working on your resume, dont forget to work on your resume for the hereafter. If someone doesn't obey Allah, he the almighty will take care of him. Focus on yourself, your own Adab, your own Akhlaq first. Then, focus on your family before you apply *force* to DZJ, or to me, for not understanding something you want us to understand, have a logical discourse, and make someone understand by reason, it might take longer for some than others to see the truth, but never should you resort to force. The aforementioned doesn't do any good, but it does further solidify many stereotypes.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostAllah also said dont steal and dont kill people. I am working on that as well; Thanks for your concern. Although I don't think why you'd think I don't know the answers, or lack the ability of conducting independent research. I just posed the question back to you, that doesn't mean I don't know the answer, nor are you obliged to share your feelings. Another beautiful fact is that I don't have to show nor display my relationship with him to you; the same way I don't request you to bring me a signature of your local Mullah, after each prayer to prove you actually prayed. ;-)

Oh btw: Admin Khan! You said you can do an independent research to find out what the ruling is. Imam Abu Haneefa was also able to do independent research. Thats why he was a mujtahid mutlaq. Have you obtained that level?Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. Oh the mighty Shamlawar Khurasani doesn't like to hear others tell him to learn about adab and akhlaq? I don't see anything wrong with the aforementioned. There is always room for improvement young grasshopper; that applies to all, not to mention you have by no means perfected the art; Yes, I am asking you to improve your adab, akhlaq, critical thinking skills, and to learn more about your deen. I'll do the same. I believe, you should always listen to others, offer feedback, and whether or not you execute is a personal choice, no need to act puzzled. I am not lecturing you on anything; I posted several pictures, most which were taken half a century ago, to show how attitudes have changed(I didn't even explicitly say that, but yeah, interesting responses so far I shall confess) and you shared your analysis bundled with your insight; Thank you for your time. =)Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostYou post image of womens legs and you lecture me about adab and akhlaaq?Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

Am I able to conduct research? I'm a student who is always learning, and trying to improve myself and my habits. Learning never stops, research never stops, I always ask Allah for forgiveness, since I know I am not perfect; nor do I get offended when someone attempts to offer me their advice. Whether or not I accept the advice, is something I decide after my analysis. I thank my algorithmic style of thinking.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostOh btw: @Admin Khan!
