Zarsanga is a famous Pushtu singer widely known as The Queen Of Pashtun Folklore.[1] She was born in 1946 at Zafar Mamakhel, a small village of Lakki Marwat. She belongs to a nomadic tribe that used to settle in Afghanistan in summer and stay in Lakki during the winter.
Can anyone answer a question of mine?In Takhti Khel village of Lakki Marwat, are the people Marwats or Bhittanis?
Takhti khel are marwats, musa khel branch of marwats. As they live near baka khel and jani khel wazirs so are heavily influenced from them and have created a tribal agency like independence for themeselves. Same is case with bragi.
Bhittanis of F.R lakki are neighbours of marwats like tajori and behram khel.
slaves of punjabis in a labour camp , not so lucky marwat
This is aftermath scene of Shah hasan khel blast by your favorite TTP on volleyball match killing more than 110 people. TTP took revenge from shah hasan khel by forming anti-taliban lashkars. 2010 Lakki Marwat suicide bombing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It should be noted that marwats are the only ones beside dirojen and mullagoris who cleansed their areas from TTP by themselves....we are hated by taliban sympathizers for this.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
They are nomads called "kotanian" in local dialect, they live in tents not houses.
The other kind of nomads in lakki marwat are "pawandan", of ghilzai and dotani origin.
Do folks from Lakki Marwat have an attachment with Afghanistan as well?
