the main factor behind the uniqueness of her case was the attractiveness of her eyes. you can't compare her picture to that of the Vietnamese girl.
comparing someone elses tragedy with that of the Vietnamese girl would make sense. but honestly, bringing sharbat gula to canada is not going to introduce peace and harmony amongst the thousands of others who may or may not have attractive eyes. it has to be the other way around.

Dzj, I personally feel if I was a photographer and one of my photos made such an impact on people's minds and huge revenue generated by it, I personally would feel obliged to give a fair proportion of the money to her. I feel the exchange between the photographer and the girl was more in favour of the photographer, not once but twice. I bought that dvd, and guess where that money went, sharbat gulla, i dont think so.

As for the vietnamese girl, i dont know where to begin trying to unravel my emotions.

Ok, i am gonna leave it there, its friday afternoon in ottawa and past midnight here in dubai.

you can't force people to be more charitable and they don't have to share their earnings with people when they don't want to. no body forced you to buy the cd and then complain about it later either.
it may or may not be 5 am in hong kong.

Ur talking to the wrong crowd lala
In the west people have been trained to do so just ask me I work in a business they make thousands out of few dollars

And the right thing would have been to get her out of the war but no one cares for her it was just another game of money and once people calmed down and he stoped making money he just went back and took another photo
