unfortunately, toramana, most of the destruction is related to scientific creations. toxins, pesticides, bombs, all the chemicals etc.

when scientific creations get used by the masses, they have been passed as 'safe'. when they are used on crops, insecticides etc, the scientists have created them to the point where they think is ok.
the creations themselves are not safe. the scientists must know this. depleted uranium was known to be unsafe but has still been allowed to be used under the pretext as safe.
where are all the scientists saying no, before they get accepted as safe? these creations which are poisoning the planet, the people, the air and the ocean?
