the child could have been crying because afraid of the cameraman or one of those big long cameras, for all we know.
that particular picture was not one i considered beautiful, i just wanted to see where else you would go with this
i thanked for the beautiful photos, which most of them were, to my eyes. next time i will remember to say, '...beautiful photos, oh, except for this that photo or that photo' to save the drama.
lol, an old woman would probably need less security in afghanistan but as far as i have heard, the volunteers do not have special security.
