Iraq is more than wars, extremism and problems!

I know that I have posted many pictures in the Iraq thread - probably enough to publish a book with pictures of Iraq but I want to show how beautiful, ancient and diverse Iraq is and that it is not only war. Especially in this time were a lot of different members have talked badly about Iraq and made videos that is not true.

Faye we have a saying in Arabic:

Man H7afara Houfraan Li Akhihi, Waqa'a Fihi. Which can be translate to "He who makes/digs a hole for his brothers, falls in it".

Those responsible for evil I believe will face consequences either in this dunya or when they will explain themselves to Almighy Allah (swt).

Brother Iraq is very diverse.

There are high mountains, rivers (bilād al-rāfidayn - land of rivers), lakes, green areas, sea (Persian Gulf), many deserts (Arabian Desert, Syrian Desert and many more), ancient cultures and monuments (Iraq is cradle of civilization), ancient cities, A LOT of Islamic cities (Baghdad was the capital of the khilāfa for over 500 years, and Islamic sites and ancient masajid (a lot of them), palm trees, dates (everywhere) steppes, hills, beaches, natural ressources (oil, gas etc.).

This is very truth and beautiful words brother (just like brother Shadowgoverner). Just like Afghanistan. Similar history. The Mongols sacked Baghdad but they did not succeed in destroying Iraq's heritage, history, religion or important Islamic sites.

Insha'Allah both Iraq and Afghanistan can have closer relations because the countries have been through similar harship. We can only pray to Almighty Allah (swt) for a stronger and better Ummah in the future.

Can some of the Pasthun brother's tell me about historical relations with Iraq/Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan (if we exclude recent history)?

If we look at the map Iraq and Afghanistan would be neighbours without Iran.

But I urge members here who have been very negative about Iraq and some even told not true things should see this thread and see that there is more to Iraq than wars, extremism and problems.
