I want to go to hajj too! I need a mahram unless I wait until I am an old lady.
I went to a lecture on Friday at the masjid. And they were lecturing about how horrible people are who go on trips down south every year and don't go to hajj. Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, and if you have the means to go to hajj, and die before you get the chance, you die as a kafir. Kind of scary. I think Allah will forgive me, because it is haram for me to go without a mahram, and since I don't have one yet...it isn't my fault. Although inshAllah I am hoping to go soon. I keep dreaming about it.Comment
