just saw a tv article about the longevity of chinese people, living in a pristine mountain environment and it reminded me of the hunza. is there longevity of the people living within these mountain regions too, toramana?
one of the reasons seems to be the pure water, air and minerals in the soil.

faye, I don't know precisely but I have heard something to that account. My native village is also like the above with many natural springs with water getting cold in summers and slightly warm in winters...Very fresh air and in whole day we would not hear sound of a car or any other vehicle...There were a lot of "chinar" trees some very tall.Originally posted by faye View Postjust saw a tv article about the longevity of chinese people, living in a pristine mountain environment and it reminded me of the hunza. is there longevity of the people living within these mountain regions too, toramana?

i remember seeing a photo in national geo, of a man from hunza valley, who was 120.
what is happening in the above pics? reafforestation or cleanup?
beautiful places with the clean water and clean air. if i wasn't so addicted to the ocean i would move to the mountains.
