When Pashtuns have colored eyes, they tend to be hazel. I think blue and green eyed Pashtuns are less frequent compared to hazel-eyed Pashtuns as above.

almost half of the male population of kabul has either pale blue or sea green eyes. my dad, a sister and cousin's eyes from his side of the family have green eyes that become hazel/light brown as they age.

DZJ, Afridis also have blue eyes many a times---but still the hazel eyes dominate...In Pashtuns, Wazir, Masud, Nebki Khel, etc. have the most colored eyes...Colored eyes on non-European but fair skin colored faces look more prominent...This is my personal observation...

My family all has hazel eyes but I have brown eyes.
My cousin's family all has brown eyes but she has blue eyes and blonde hair.

                    Much variation in Pashtuns.

back in sarobi i saw this kid with green eyes that had this one spot in one eye near the pupil that was firey redish brown. unfortunatly there were too many men around so i didn't really want to search for my camera..
i find colored eyes empty and soulless

I find colored eyes beautiful, deep, and inviting (like blue water of a river you want to jump into)....I will repeat colored eyes look more beautuful and conspicuous on faces that are less fairer(compared to European skin color) obviously due to higher contrast with the face...When skin color gets too fairer, it dominates the color of the eyes (lower contrast and wider spatial span of the face compared to that of eyes)...

Now this guy, also a Pukhtun from Dir, has brown eyes tending to be hazel...this is I think the typical Pashun eye color...
