Yes this is not as palatable as a man with an equal aged woman, both in their 20s or 30s, BUT, this is Afghanistan, not the west!

Islam gives the permission, (I wont do it myself but I wont say it is disgusting either because the entity that created woman > God, allows it)

Afghan culture permits it, (though this is now a rarity).

so if your'e disgusted, your'e wrong, dont judge everyone by western culture, this is not the west.

bearing in mind these people are Muslims Afghans, not European Atheists or Christians.

The Prophet PBUH married a 55~57 years old widow as his second wife. [hazrat Suda RA]

I wont have any problem with it.

I can support one and I am of the very few who actually appreciate that marriage is not just about s**, it is also about social support and security.

However it is people like you DZJ! western born irritated teens (rather brats) who ridicule their religion and culture and people because they feel ashamed of them, because we live in times where Islam is not the dominant power or Islamic culture is not the dominant culture.
