Laila & emkhan, Sakhra is a side valley in Swat yet unexplored. There is a road to Sakhra diverting from the main road either at Matta or Drosh Khela . The valley itself would be 8-10 miles deep. It is very lush-green. On the other side of the mountain to the north-east is Madayan.

Me and my friend went there some years ago and treked all the way to the last point in Sakhra at the base of the mountain. It was too cold there. We were very hungry. A Gujjar there cooked us some rice.

There is a village Lalko in Sakhra sub-valley which has the summer camp of Fazli-Haq college Mardan.

Yes, there are nice hotel in Mingawara all the way to Kalam (where there are very good hotels). Apart from Mingawara city, there are nice hotels ahead of Fizzagat (which is the northern-most point in Mingawara) most by the river side. In Miandam, there are nice hotel. In Malam Jabba, there was a good hotel but was destroyed by the Taleban. Then at Madayan, there are good hotels. In Madayan, you can eat delicious trout freshly caught from feshing form. In Bahrain and Kalam, there are nice hotels.

But during the Taleban period many hotels were affected and togethor with that tourism industry as well.
