ants are not cool when in ones toilet, let me tell you!!!!! and the shower. they pulled that one on me a coupla times too.LOL
in oz we have termite mounds made of clay. apparently some or all, face a certain direction. something to do with sun, heating and cooling, i think. i used to go at night and watch them working to fix up the walls, where a chunk had been broken off. fascinating.
