when i first went to live in the wilderness with my best friend, we had a snake move in on the rafters and we freaked a bit as it wouldn't budge, and my friend killed it. we found out it wasn't a poisonous one and felt really bad. never again.
2 days ago, a neighbour found a dead wampoo pidgeon. they are from new guinea and queensland, where i live, but we rarely see them. they are so beautiful purple breast feathers and mostly green and yellowish. good to see one close .
