Unfortunately the reality indicates otherwise; we are anything but ONE NATION. The recent past shows that we are still very much entrenched in tribal mentality. We are sold on the idea of calling this patch of land Afghanistan but we are not (yet) sold on the idea of accepting others ethnicities as Afghans and certainly not sold on the idea of sharing resources of this land with them. In fact we are squabbling like animals over whatever resources we can find or whatever we haven't squandered yet. Tajiks Uzbaks Turkmans Hazara Baluch Afghans (Pashtuns) Noristanis Aimaq Kirghiz Dogs Wolves Hyenas Gorillas etc etc etc.
