really? i thought london would have a good live band scene. that is disappointing. i would've like to have seen some good afro/rap bands. america was fantastic for live music! i was in seattle for a coupla months(in the 90s) and i went and saw 3 grunge bands, nearly every night. it was dirt cheap and was the in place for bands to try and make it. so they all put on a really good show. i had a ball! sometimes i was the oldest there and the only one dancing, ha, ha. no shame.
